if you put a small piece of double sided thin tape on the inside of the leather ring, you might get it even look more nice. I want it to be completely closed to avoid air leakage. So I use black electrical tape. It works fine!
@Restatic looks fine to me. Those pads are big. I need to try that on Brainwavz XL Sheepskin pads. How they sound after a good seal. Biggest of my collection and very comfy.
Hmm. I got nice idea of back modding. I tried different seals on back and played pink noise at the same time when measuring. I think I got it a bit cleaner and smoother sounding and slightly more crunchiness and less evelated, deeper bass and midrange to low treble is now more crispier and relaxed highest frequencies oven more. Treble could be still slightly smoother but otherwise seems very good. This headphone is now almost sealed. I used magnetic sheets. Not sure if that magnetic can cause some differences also. It was thick and easy to apply so I used it.
You can always remove it because it's magnetic! Thickness is approx 1.5mm.
Would anybody be interested in a pair of 580s that are cutting out on the left side? It's probably just a bad wire but I don't know how to solder. I will let them go for a reasonable price. PM me if interested. U.S only.

I've not had any Takstar headphones repaired; I've just communicated with them regularly on other issues.
Presumably you would have to ship them back, but they would cover shipping back to you (that's just an assumption on my part). Even if it costs you $30-50 to ship them to China, that's probably considerably less than the hit you would take trying to sell nonfunctional headphones.

Brainwavx HM5 / XL will fit also very fine. I did try them also. High freqs is getting a bit harsh. So I use the LCD-x clone earpad. Big size.. but yeah.. what the hack
This M1060 sheepskin earpad.......... SERIOUSLY? I get midrange to rise and keep the treble same or better level. I did not know this was angled... Also subbass goes deeper. More comfort than Brainwavz oval sheepskin. Probably the best earpad I have tried so far for this headphone! One treble spike around 11kHz. Easy to EQ but I wonder if I could do some pad mods and lower it. Modded Brainwavz Oval Sheepskin pads have smoother treble but this at stock and better midrange and bass.
I can only speak of myself but if you gonna do back modding. Best think is keep the clearance of the driver and damping material. Make walls to the driver's plastic frame grill and then add something to the back. I liked to use an oval shaped felt sheet and combine it with cleaning cloth + aluminium foil + fine metal mesh. If you want to increase more midrange then do my last back mod with magnetic sheets. You can use high density foam or anything you like but I liked the magnetic sheets because it's removable Front mod is tricky because if you use bad materials then u get bigger dips and dry sound in some frequencies easily. I liked to use kinesio tape, cleaning cloth and fine metal mesh on the front.
And back to the new M1060 earpad impressions. More I listen more I like this new earpad. Only one think is that 11 kHz spike is a bit too much for my liking. I had to EQ it. Still so happy to the sound I also already added some kinesio tape to inner walls that seems to help slightly that treble spike. It seems to have many good thinks and one weak point at the front.
Edit. I made it full air tight with tape and kinesio mod to inner wall. Still equalized after this measurement but nothing is perfect.
I haven't heard the Aiva but I would say the Sendy pads are a good start and make a massive improvement to the quality of the sound (more comfortable, too), most notably the shouty, hollow mids. And since they share the driver, after you swap the pads, it's only the cup shape/resonance and rear dampening that would make a difference in the sound between the Aiva and HF580.
