hi i just want to do a major paint job on my hd 650 and i need to take it apart like completly can someone tell me how to do it proprely i dont want to pry on every thing still a 600 $ canadian dollar pair of muff thank you

Pads pull off, as does the metal grill. Not exactly sure about headband, but I think you can figure that part out.

Why would you paint them? What do you think is going to happen to your paint job when the headband and the forks bend and flex?

don't worry about the paint coming off its not my first paint job on flexbile object and i want to paint them because the screw*** paint on the headband start to crack as always and the paint iam using is probably better then sennheiser one for flexing but pretty closed to the same color but not exacly so i want to paint the whole thing
