New Head-Fier
Introducing the new Solitaire P Over-Ear headphones from T+A.
T+A stands for Theory And Application and is no stranger to the hi-end audio space, known for its exceptional quality and performance.
This pair of headphones is a symbol of experience, expertise, and commitment in the design and development of sound transducers which have been T+A's signature for 41 years.
These headphones have been developed by a team of young engineers and experienced physicists who share a deep passion for music.
Design & Concept:
Technology:
T+A’s first headphone amplifier is a new and ground-breaking development in which the analogue amplifier section, the converter section and the case mechanics operate to perfection.
The digital section is fitted with the proprietary T+A True 1-Bit digital / analogue converter, which provides an incredible DSD 1024 for Bitstream, and the T+A quadruple converter with 32 Bit / 768 kHz for PCM.
Overall, this headphone amplifier is a match made in heaven together with the Solitaire P headphones. However, the analogue section of the HA 200 is based on the unique T+A HV technology. Its high-performance output stages operate in Class-A mode with a high idle current and are effortlessly capable of driving even other hi-end headphones.

Design & Concept:
- The ear and head pads are hand-made and manufactured in Germany. They consist of allergen-free synthetic leather and Alcántara leather and remain pleasant to wear even after ten hours.
- The components, consisting of high-strength plastics and carbon, fit together perfectly, enabling the entire diaphragm to be driven at high power.
- All the components of the Solitaire P are assembled by hand. Upon completion of the assembly of parts, every set of headphones is subjected to a final technical, acoustic, and visual examination
Technology:
- 19 high-performance neodymium magnets as the driving force to vibrate the diaphragms through accurately calculated magnetic field lines. This enables to drive high sound pressures without distortion
- In-House development by T+A: "Draft Control System" that effectively hinders any air turbulence occurring inside the earpiece that could adversely affect sound quality
- Planar-Magnetostatic System
