Hi all,

I recently bought a pair of Creative Aurvana Live 2 headphones as my entry into the headphone market and was quite disappointed- a bit dark, lacking in upper mids and highs (I'm used to the balanced sound of my Sony MH1C iem's), but was able to fix this through the EQ in the AIMP music player. I was looking for something that works system-wide-not just in one application. I've tried Equalizer APO, which wouldn't work (used it with REW and couldn't get a change, also tried changing the pre-amp in the settings with no change). I have a hifimediy sabre DAC and am unable to access any audio enhancements in windows.

Headphones have been burnt in for 75+ hours and I'm using a fiio e6 as my amp.

Is it just the DAC that is limiting me?

Thanks

EDIT: I'm running windows 7 x64

Unlikely to be the DAC, might be nature of your headphones.

Yeah I was basically saying that the DAC was probably limiting me from using any software EQ.

Unfortunately had no luck with the programs you linked but thanks anyway.
