It's just that most people here don't want to admit listening to the kind of music you are requesting.

Quote:

Artist: katie melua
Album: Piece by Piece
Songs: Nine Million Byclyes, Shy Boy
which is very musical and Also want some guitar shine pop Albums like.
Hilary duff: Metamorphosis

I can't help you either to be honest

My all time favorite female vocalistis Melissa Kaplan perviously of Splashdown. You can download their stuff free here.

She now has a solo project called Universal Hall Pass which is more esoteric but she could sing the phone book and my eyes would roll back. UHP samples and albums are available here.

If you'dlike to elaborate on music tastes I'd be happy to offer some more recs

i don't know why folks aren't trying to help you out... stop being antagonistic and give him suggestions! like christina aguilera! (kidding)
my favorite vocalist (male) is david sylvian, and his best album is 'secrets of the beehive' from 1988 (i think) it's my favorite chill out record for when i think i'm being deep and thoughtful... my favorite female vocalist is sade, and her greates hits album is killer...
i also like lisa gerrard (one of the vocalists with the haunting voice who you hear a lot in the movie 'gladiator')
'the sundays' good band with a girl singer
'cocteau twins' another fave band with girl singer
'october project' band with girl singer
