Using v3 of the Burson Audio discrete opamp in the Lycan with the leg extensions.
Has anyone compared it with other head amps?
This looks very interesting! Ive been wanting a Burson Soloist SL for a while but the price always held me back.. You guys think the lycan would have the same sound signature as i read ( warm sounding , wide soundstage, rich sound etc) ?
And whats the difference between 2x single ss opamp and 1x dual ss opamp ?
Has anyone compared it with other head amps? Anyone paired it with the Audeze LCD2 or he MrSpeaker MadDog?
Well, I guess I'm on my way to enter the Lycan universe! It primarily caught my attention after recently reading this X-mas holiday gift recommendation..

I was then a few days later more or less lucky to "win" a demo set with the V-5 opamp for an extremely affordable price, below half price, and with express shipping to the US, so I very much look forward to very soon experience the Lycan, primarily using my Geek Pulse as a source and a couple of decent entry level headphones HD600/HE400s + my Etymotic 4ER-S IEM's. Maybe also trying the Lycan out as a preamp into a couple of amplifier/speaker setups. I also have a bunch of various opamps that I eventually would like to test the Lycan out with.
