To change from gain 3 to gain 8, do I leave the two jumpers hanging off one of the pins? Or do I just take them off completely? or does both work?

Also, I have an AC adapter, not Xin's one, that has various tips only one fits the supermini, it has a yellow plastic tip which is open at the top. It fits into the amp and cuts the battery out but does not power it. The plug tip does not go all the way into the DC jack, it is slightly too long (the tip is about 6mm long). Any ideas what the problem is here? Anyone have a picture of the tip of Xin's AC adapter I can have a look at?

Thanks

You can remove the jumpers completely.

Hanging the jumpers on the lower pin doesn't do anything different. It just
gives you a place to keep the jumpers when they're not being used.

The only jumpers that need to be in place in the lower position are the
crossfeed jumpers. The reason being, that it changes which path the
signal travels.

good luck
