Just like the title says - who has one, and what does it sound like? I've read alot of reviews on the regular SM3, and was wondering if I should assume that the Lite version sounds the same as the regular one (as long as none of the switches were engaged), or if they sound a little different?

Any review on a SM3 Lite would be much appreciated.

thanks!

I really don't understand why Xin decreased the capacitance.

Yes, it will preserve battery life, but the battery life is long enough as it is, especially with rechargeables.

It's not like the smaller capacitors cost that much less, either.

Regardless, the Xin SM Lite should sound very similar to the Xin SM with high impedance headphones.

Capacitance does not decrease the battery life the extra buffer does. The capacitor was left out so that stacking of buffers could be done by the user but I have not found that I prefer even 2 to the 1 that comes stock. I have been listening to the unit totally stock except for trying the SA5534, which is very smooth and fine sounding. The Lite is, well, I am going to right a review on it. It will not dissapoint and at the price I think it is a big bargain.
