Superlux HD681 Lifespan?

I've been reading a lot on these because their a headphone I was looking at grabbing.
I see an issue of people on Amazon saying they've only lasted a month or not even a few months.
Can anyone with experience tell me how long they've had theirs and their experience with the can themselves?

I just want some tips on EQ, & other things just in case.

I've had mine for 5-6 years. For about six months I used them daily. Never had a problem.

Those are great value for money. Highs are too much and I find mids a bit thin sounding. But I highly recommend those to anyone who uses eq, mods or just is not sensitive to high frequences.

I appreciate that I was looking for a good budget buy and decided if I buy the 681 that I'd buy the 681-EVO for comparison.
You have any feedback on the EVO or have you had the time to listen to them?

Unfortunately I have never heard evo. From what I've red is bassier, less bright and has smaller soundstage than hd681.
