I have the UE's but I am not sure if I like them. I am lacking the emotional attachment to them that I had with my Shure's. Maybe it is my source, but I am sad.
 
I find they lack emotion in the highs and have uninspired (but quite existent!) and slightly muddy/boomy bass.
 
Is this common with the UE's, would I be more satisfied with the RE0?

could be you just prefer that shure midy sound signature in which case maybe the PL-50 would be more to your tastes

I think I will wait until I get a decent source...
Also I found their sweet spot.
