This may be a silly ?..but when breaking in the superdual, can I leave the amp playing for a long period of time while plugged in to an outlet..or does it have to be just battery alone? Seems like it would take forever if I would have to let it charge for 8 hrs everyday, then play for however long the battery stays charged then charge again. On the same token would it be ok to listen for extended periods while using wall power? Have most of you let it burn in while plugged in? Thanks...

Not sure about leaving it plugged in that long, but over the time I have had mine, I haven't noticed a huge difference from the 'out of box' experience. Enjoy the SD, it's a great little amp.

Yeah I can't imagine this little wonder sounding even better! With my ety's I cannot believe the beautiful added sound and amazing bass this amp gives. I owned a super mini in the past which was awesome too..but this little jem is worlds different in my opinion. Couldn't be happier with it.. when I first plugged it in to my ipod and hit the bass boost I was floored.. Didn't mean to get off the charging topic..just sharing my thoughts on the amp. Thanks for the advice.

Indeed, this amp has a certain synergy (I hate that word) with the etys. Shame xintechs didn't work out.

Man, I can't wait for my superdual to come in the mail. I received an email from them stating that their supplier has been unable to give them the parts needed to manufacture more superduals, so my wait has increased dramatically. =((

I can't wait to hear my 595's hooked up to it!

I was down the street from where I lived once and there was a dead rodent near the footpath and it looked like someone had tried to shave it with a pair of clippers.

Del:
Taking the time to burn-in results in a lot of small changes which taken together becomes significant. Just about any audio component seems to benefit in some ways.

I was waiting till xmas to buy my Superdual for my 4ps...but it looks like there aren't going to be anymore superduals!!?!?? !@#$@!#$$!

Question: Are the new Xin's he's building (supermono, err something??) going to be as synergistic with the Etys?

Most of his amps have an evolution as opposed to a total redesign, so I would say the new amps will be similar and better.

i told del the same thing(pmed me)

misterX did my cable, but he said he's getting out of it(either he really is or he hates my stinkin guts, and i make him vomit, i am scum between his toes)

so i'd ask jmtaudio.com to do it, i have a mini-rca from him and it's awesome, the cable he uses if much more flexible(the one i have now is pretty stiff for what i did in the picture)

misterX is a really nice guy though, he made me two cables... he's funny too, pretended he wasn't misterX when i imed him, hah..

i'm going to be travelling to hong kong this weekend and i'll see if i get any funny "what a nerd" look from others, if i do i'll most likely displaced my velcroed sd and put that in my pocket
