Hey everyone, I'm new here and I read through the "Recommendations for best headphones on the market" and "Headphone Buyer's Guide" threads above, but I couldn't find a specific answer to my question (not the fault of the thread but mostly because I'm not familiar with the terminology used in some cases.) I'm looking for a pair of wireless headphones for my PC in the $50-$150 price range, but google and amazon haven't been as helpful as they usually are. I don't need any ipod accessibility or any controls on the headphones themselves as I will be able to do that in Windows Media Player. I just need something lightweight and comfortable that can connect to my pc without wires, any suggestions? I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this or if I am breaking some kind of forum rule by asking. If either is the case, please let me know and I will make the necessary adjustments. Thank you for reading to this point.

I've had Logitech's Freepulse Wireless bluetooth headphones for about a year now and it's been a great investment. They're durable, don't look stupid, and very light. They're almost a piece of clothing for me - they're either on my ears or resting around my neck. The sound quality is decent enough - a little better than what you'd get out of ibuds. They sound veiled but have enough of the "fun" sound to enjoy most genres you can throw at them. I usually get around ~5-6 hours of continuous listening out of them.

They come with a rather bulky bluetooth dongle thing that is battery powered (meant to be used with mp3 players), so you'd be better off buying a small USB bluetooth dongle for your computer that isn't battery powered.

Overall they're built to be a portable headphone, not one to be used at home with your computer, but I've used them for both purposes and have been pretty happy.

I looked at the particular model you specified and I think I would like to get it, but like you said the dongle is meant to be used for mp3 players and wouldn't work on my computer. Are there universal usb dongles that will work with this model of headphone?

Thanks for the link Tb311, I read through those 7 or 8 product and they gave me lots of useful information, but many of them pointed out their quality was inferior to wired headphones. I could see this as being the case over long distances, but is this still true when using headphones on your pc at close range?
