I am a college student and i walk around all day between classes, the last thing i want after coming out of math and putting in my headphones is to get a headache from the cable hitting my chest and stomach, and just ruining all the sound.

i am just looking for a pair of in ear headphones, below 100$, that are comfortable, have good bass( i listen to alot of rap and r&b), stay in my ear, and have no or very little cable thump.

I have tried jbuds J3, good but horrible cable thump, and the cable recently broke on me so i am getting a new pair.
i have a pair of sony's i am not sure what their called but they have the earhook, that like clips to your earlobe, those sound amazing, and fit perfectly but same problem horrible cable thump, i cant so much as move the cable when i am listening to anything.
The only pair i have that are cable thump free are my generic apple headphones that came with my iphone 4, but their uncomfortable and hurt my ear, and don't sound good.

i am also looking at these three pairs of headphones but i will listen to any suggestions right now

SOUL by ludacris, they seem to get good reviews and the cable looks sturdy, plus it has a mic so thats a plus

never tried that i usually just put the headphones up under my shirt and then out of my collar straight to my ear it bothers me to put them around my ear, it starts to tug down on my ear nd bothers me

Usually looping them over your ear is the solution to getting rid of microphonics. I would try that. Are the cables too short for you to do that? I don't have a problem but I'm not very tall.

no im short too, if anything the cables are too long for me i have to usually bunch up a lot of it into my pocket or let it hang out, ill give it a try but i would rather be able to just wear my headphones regularly and have it not thump, its just a matter of comfort for me
