i am about to redeem my american express rewards points(which means i am not paying any money).
i have just enough to grab either

shure e2c

or

bose around-ear headphones

bose sells for $140 and e2c sells for $50 on amazon although they cost almost the same amount of rewards points. i do not have any experience with shure phones. i've tried on the bose around-ear headphones at bestbuy last weekend, and i thought they were very comfy and sounded 'decent'.
i currently have mylarone x3, and i was wondering if shure e2c sounded better than x3.
i would never pay money for bose products (didnt really like their iem's) but am very tempted to get the above mentioned item b/c of the comfort and decent sound quality, and it's free.

what do you suggest i should get?

e2c and e2g are the same other than color. e2c are clear.

if i were you, i'd get bose.

yes, bose.

so you can sell it for ~$140 to some idiot and then buy some real phones. e2c's are decent when kramer modded, but i dont know if' theyd be better than x3's

how much did you have to spend to get that many reward points?

x3

Buy the Bose, ebay them, or post them on a classified site, and buy a good pair of headphones. There are so many better 'phones out there for around $150. You might have to take a hit, say $20 or so, but even for $130, you can get a heck of a lot better set than the Bose.

Also, for other help/recommendations, will your sources be that listed in your profile?
