Well, having not built any other amps I successfully built a PPA a couple nights ago. Took about three hours total. Basically, I put all the components on sans the I/O, and fired it up. The voltages were as expected. I then put the I/O on, and fired it up, worked like a charm. I'm currently using one 5002 per channel, but am expecting my diamond buffer within the week. I'm also expecting my custom front and rear panels this weekend. I should have a completely finished maxed PPA within the next few days. I intend to do a few unique things with it as well. I'll post some pics then. Initial impressions: Sounds great!

Thanks to AOS, PPL, Binary-Digit, Xtreme4099 and, of course, Tangent.

Next stop Gilmore V2.

Sounds interesting, what exactly do you mean by 'custom'?
