i'm looking at some new headphones to replace my shure se110's (nice but i like over the ear better).

i have $350 to spend.

one stipulation,

has to be closed backed

my parents hate it when they can hear my music.

i currently have a sony walkman 7-series mp3 player (nwz-a728b)

i was looking at beyerdynamic's dt 770 pros but i want opinions

Well, you really shouldn't need to be asking even after you do know the word for it. there's enough information on these forums on whatever phone you want to make you cry from reading the headphone name so many times.

and another recommendation- SRH840. (used. you can get 'em for around 120)
