what's the different between Carat Ruby and this?
I have a Ruby and it sounds not very transparent. But it works well with K701.

I have personally have not listened to the Ruby, however others have made the comment that the Topaz soundstage has much more depth to it. The DAC portion benefits with increased performances which is also key!
