tech-geek people also mostly dont understand audio hifi stuff.

on a tech forum (off topic section) i posted my ibasso d2 boa.. i just posted the pics.

most of them said 'i dunno what it is but it looks cool'

it was a lol moment for me

then i had to explain there is somethng known as H'phone amp and what does it do and why is it needed.

I got that one from my mum just yesterday... she'd read an article about someone with tinnitus and he mentioned using headphones a lot. I had to mention that anything will damage your hearing if it's loud enough.

Then i listen to his, same source. Sounded like the things were dipped in jello or mud, having a thick layer of the stuff surrounding the drivers. (koss open headphones...not portapro, some other thing from radioshack)

Some of my favorites:

1) Why the hell would I need an amplifier for headphones, that's nonsense!
2) Those are too big, I'll stick with the iBuds because they're smaller.
3) I don't care how they sound, just as long as they're small.
4) How come that headphone plug is so big, what's that used for? (about 1/4" TRS).
5) You paid HOW MUCH for those?!
