Stupid poll : Hd650/BDv2+sr225 or HD650 Stock/RS-2

Ok, might be a stupid poll .... probably.
To keep My budget in control, I have to do a choice between :

HD650 with Blue Dragon v2 + Grado sr225
or
HD650 Stock + Grado RS-2

Which one do you think is more 'balanced' ?
I run a Dared MP-5, usually from Itunes with VBR Lame Extreme from Original CDs

I chose 'You cannot like Sennheiser AND Grado at the same time' as it appears to be the more accurate in summing up what you seem to be looking for. Which is.....?

Balance between two pairs of phones?

No, I am not looking into a balance in between those 2 headphones, or looking for someting like a pair tht would be between sennheiser and grado. Different times call for different pair. Sometimes I am listening to one, sometimes to the other.

I am trying to balance, or I would say have a 'consistent set' between the 2. Or, As I have trouble to decide myself, I admit it, what would be the 'consensu choice', if any !

In that situatio, what would YOU do. This is more my question

I'd get an HD600 or HD580 with HD600 grilles, either way maybe get an HD650 cable, and get the RS2 or an RS1. I wouldn't get an HD650 at all.

IMO, the cables are not such a great difference. But the RS-2 blows the 225 away. The wood grados are something you've gotta have.

I voted stock HD650 + RS2, given my musical preferences I would rather go that route. Basically IMHO the difference between the RS2 and SR225 is bigger than the 650 cables.

3rd option...
HD580 + RS1, Mod the snot outta that 580 and watch it blow past the HD600, thats what I did

Keep the RS2, don't be very impulsive. Loose SR225. It is painful but better than loosing his BIG brother.

I think RS2 is WAY better than SR225. HD650 with stock cable is almost as good as with blue dragon.

the rs2 is awesome some actually prefer it to the rs1, while the 225 has great bang for the buck its a pretty easy victory for the rs2 imo. I've heard conflicting things about cable modding the senns, but I will assume it makes a noticeable difference but not enough to overcome the difference between rs2 and 225.

Even though an aftermarket cable takes HD650 to a different level I voted for HD650 + RS2. RS2 is even more on a different level than SR225.

This is not an easy one.
