Hi there
 
For my music I do have an external hdd, notebook and Behringer sound card which is known to be quite good. I also have a NAS and of course a mobile phone (galaxy i9000 with voodoo kernel). For fun I tried to stream some music I had on the NAS and it's easy as hell, which made me thinking: is the notebook with ext hdd and dedicated sound card much better sq wise? Should it be?

Well, if you are listening to it yourself and it seems better to you, that's mostly what matters, right?

Which Beheringer sound card do you have? And what are you listening with (make/model of headphones or speakers)?
