Has anyone who uses an Apple Silicon Mac and the macOS Music app ever experienced this problem?

This is how the problem occurs:

1. I will be listening to music in the macOS Music app with a USB DAC/amp like the Schiit Asgard 3 with built-in USB DAC or the Fiio Q7
2. I stop the music.
3. I turn the amp off.
4. I turn the amp back on again.
5. I play music in the Music app.
6. The music is now either playing far too fast and high-pitched or too slow and low-pitched.
7. Exiting the Music app and restarting it fixes the problem.

Some notes about this issue:

-I do not encounter this problem on any other app like Spotify or Roon, only the macOS Music app.
-I have never encountered this issue with any iFi Device. The Asgard 3 and the Q7 both have an ESS DAC. Not that that would cause it, but I wonder...

I just got the Q7 today and was disappointed to find it has this same problem with the Music app as the Asgard 3. Any ideas as to what is causing this? Anyone else ever encountered this problem?

No, nothing to do with the DAC (the chip) but it might be an issue with the USB receiver.
If you set the USB audio output to 44.1 kHz in the Audio Midi setting, do you still have this problem?

Unfortunately yes. I set it to 44.1, played music, paused it, turned the Q7 off, turned it back on, played the same music, and it was playing too slow. :(
