went to apple store last night and they were out of the apogee duet but got lucky this morning googling and found it at woodwind & brasswind, a sub of guitar center.

they also have a great 20% off for call in customers. sweet!

anyways, the appogee is about the most apple fanboy solution on the market, honestly, why not look at E-MU/M-Audio/iBasso/Predator/Pico/Firestone Fubar/CI/Headroom where you aren't paying just to be "a mac"???


as far as comparisons, the m902 will best the duet at, well, everything, same for the better headroom amps, no idea for the musical-fi amp, heard the V8 is good though (V8 also has USB, yet another option for you)
