i have a dragonfly black usb dac , it supports android . ppl say to use it i must use a player that have usb dac driver and thats cool i did and it work flawlessly both the dac and amp sections but thats all other system volumes , notifications , ringtons, youtube ....etc dont work , so its supposed that the installed usb driver allow it to work through the app only .
i am cool with that as this is what supposed to be. (audio bcame too loud and clear with no distortions ) so it worked both dac/amp
but here is the strange issue when i choose not to apply the usb driver and just use the player or any other audio in the android platform it still work via the output jack of my DAC :O
(although other audio sources in android like notifications youtube...wtc work while no usb driver) still the amp section of my dac dont work though without the dac usb driver applied (same volume as android) . but the DAC processing it self works , how is that? ( i jknew that dac processing work cuz i did A/B comparison between my dac jack and my phone jack and the dac was better lol and i recognized my usb dac audio signature even no usb player driver applied o,O )
am i falling to placebo? is the audio processing through the dac or my dac is just working like a cable extension and audio is really processing from my phones dac ? plz help i am bit confused
