Straight answer about Zaolu pricing

Either I have their emails wrong or Lawrence and Eddie are now the same.

I can't get a straight answer from either of them. But from what I can tell their pricing is higher (with shipping) than the US distributor here:

Why would anyone order from either of them, when you can order from a US company who actually replies in non-broken English. What am I missing?

In my case - I was ordering before the US distributor had them for sale. Plus - getting it from Eddie was cheaper (even including shipping) than the US distributor price (I paid $165 for stock Zhaolu shipped from Eddie while the US distributor charges $178 also shipped.) Plus Eddie included three additional opamps for free (I'm not sure if he does it still, though).

That's a great example of market forces in action... Eddie has established a good reliability record and seems to understand the concept of "freebies" for promoting his sales...

I'm in Canada so I'm not sure how the pricing will compare or if the US dealer will even sell to Canada. Does anyone know?

I can't help you with info on the U.S. dealer, but I ordered mine from Eddie at the beginning of May. It was $162.33 US plus $56 US shipping. After exchange, it came to $250 Canadian total. Eddie shipped it on a Monday and I received it on Friday the same week (I tracked that sucker every step of the way on the hk speedpost site). I paid $30 Cdn. in taxes and duty. Total cost $280 Cdn.

Hey guys, I sent an email to Eddie asking about prices of the different upgrades available for the Zhaolu and shipping costs to Miami, Florida, USA and this is what he answered:

What does this means? Is he going to ship two boards in two boxes or is he putting one box into another box for safety reasons? And about shipping, is the price $130 with insurance and $71 without insurance? Sorry if this seems a little stupid but I really can't interpret what Eddie is trying to tell me here.

No, it means $71 price. The insurance covers $130 worth of goods.
