I accidentally stomped on my hd-280 pros today, and I would like to know if there is any sort of glue/epoxy that can re-fuse some of the plastic together. They still sound fine, though. I think I can repair them if only there exists some sort of strong bonding material. Considering my size it's a wonder I didn't shatter them to bits.

Ouch!

I would use a *very small amount* of plastic epoxy (the kind where you mix two compounds together), available at any hardware store or Wal Mart. Superglue may be too harsh and melt some of the plastic, deforming the shape of the pieces, plus it may dry to rigid. Good plastic epoxy is incredibly strong, but will still allow your headband to flex the way it is supposed to.

Too bad for you that *every* piece of the HD-280 is replaceable except for the plastic headband!

The headband is fine. One of the earcups has the outside wrecked, and the little thingy sthe headband connects to on the cup are destroyed. Will Sennheiser replace parts I wrecked just by being stupid?

I used to have some stuff that was made to bond abs plastic, but I lost it and have never seen it in any stores. My grandpa had it from a while ago. It was called Jake's or Jim's or something.
