I would like to ask something, I love my Klipsch Promedia GMX even though it have a flaw and most people say it sucks. But after a while listening to it, I changed my speaker to a bookshelf speaker my father made with proper amplifier, its better than my Klipsch speaker but I noticed how much different from horn loaded treble compared to conventional driver. When I changed back to my Klipsch, I noticed the high is stinging my ear for a few moment before my ear 'normalise' with it

So the question is, is stinging high will give me hearing loss over time? Something like being unable to listen to certain frequency or sort?

If by "stinging" you mean a physical pain in your ears after listening, then yes, I'd be very concerned. Unplug your speakers and go see a specialist.

If you mean that you hear a ringing in your ears after listening, then you are likely listening at too high a volume, and are risking hearing loss. Loss of hearing of high frequencies is a natural thing as we age, but the process can be accelerated by exposure to high volumes.

I think he just means the high end is a bit shrill with the Klipsch which causes a bit of ear pain at first if set loud. Just lower the treble a tad or use an equalizer and lower the high frequencies a bit.

Yep that's what I mean. I can't handle anything more than 1/2 of the volume up when using foobar2000 with kernel streaming (which is louder than directsound IMO, normally i set up only 1/4) if the satellite is around 40-50 cm in front of me, louder than that I need to take few step back. I noticed that Klipsch speaker is more 'in your face' approach than other speaker which feels more deep.

I'm not a fan of equalizer but I will give it a try, using Winamp with AudioburstFX lowering treble and increasing the midrange sounds better than most equalizer I used
