My research goes on and my main candidates are the following (I'll add some comments about the info I've got so far):

Signature 30.2: very good reviews with the K1000. SLA batteries need maintenance, it is not suitable for regular phones.

Cary CAD300SEI: very nice product, relatively compact in size, has headphone out, 300B SET. High price and some people say it has not the best synergy with K1000. Also I'd like to know how it sounds with regular phones.

RKV II: a classic! Controversial reviews with K1000. Is hybrid rather than tube, but allows for opamp rolling. Additional bonus of being manufacured in Europe (I'm located in Spain).

Wooaudio 5: the amps that does it all! Extremely versatile, also includes an XLR K1000 output. 300B SET. Large size, sepparate power supply.

Singlepower Extereme with 14 amp external transformer: that's the configuration Mikhail has recommended me for the K1000. Extreme possibilities of tube rolling (but one can end with a different set of tubes for each phone). OTL SET with compact size. Maybe it's not the best match for the K1000, it's more a regular headamp that has power to drive the K1000 (but with what degree of synergy??)

I know there are many other options, but by now these are the ones that best fit my needs. I'll appreciate every comment from experienced users of the listed amps.
Thank you!

How about the Millett ECC99? You can find it here:

ECC99 SRPP Headphone Amp

He designed it specifically for the K-1000. I have to get my back end in gear; I have all the parts for this but have been putting off the casework. Ordering the Sowter trannies from England wasn't bad, either. Took several weeks, but they showed up and are well made.

Even if you don't DIY, you can get the parts for about $500 and have it custom built. That'll be in line with most of the others you are considering.

You bet. I am looking looking forward to listening to it with the K1000 and even more so the HD650.
