Ok, this is my second thread, because the title for the first one no longer was correct.

I listen to a lot of rock (System of a Down, AC/DC, Sum 41, Blink 182.....), and I'm looking for some closed, portable, unamped headphones.

I thought of the AKG K 26 P's, but was told to get the ATH-FC7's instead.

Are there any other suggestions before I decide to order the FC7's from bluetin? I like what I've seen of these headphones so far. I would really prefer having a warranty if possible, though...

I just really want to be sure I'll be happy with the product I buy, and that it will sound good with rock music.

I'm in the same position as you, but I would suggest maybe a sony mdr-v6 or an akg k81. they are both closed headphones and I have heard good things about both.

I have a general question. I've decided that I plan on going with the ATH-FC7's. My question is, are there any good canal-phones for around this price? (cx300?) Will they isolate sound as well as a pair of closed headphones, or at least close?

Ok, i think it's between the CX-300's and the ATH-FC7's. What do you guys suggest?
