The P-70 is a a discontinued model. I wonder why they didn't use the P-03 instead?

Wow, if the Desktop module is a Class A...then where does that leave the Home or Max modules? Congrats to HeadRoom.

Was the 5910 rated class A as an audio source? I have one and have a hard time believing that. IMO the stock 5910 as an audio source is ok, but no better than the 3910.

That surprises me. Don't get me wrong. I'm always happy when one of my components gets a Class A or better rating from Stereophile, but from personal experience, the 5910 really doesn't sound all that great through its analog outs. I never even considered it as my main 5.1 source and am looking at a few other sources for that purpose. As far as video, it is definitely Class A+ IMO.

I have read from consumers that the Denon DVD 2910 does not sound much better than the Denon DVD 5910. No offense, I am just the messenger here.

I'll have to brace myself for the slide!

Oski and aerius, the Desktop model reviewed by Stereophile this month had Max modules and Max DAC along with stepped attenuator and the Desktop PSU. Basically all the upgrades possible on it.
