My computer reverses my stereo channels. I tried both my sound cards and it's the same. If I try moving the balance left on winamp, sound comes right, etc. All my cables and headphones are set up properly, it's not human error.

Anybody have an idea how to fix this or what causes it? I tried a fresh reboot and it is already like this.

I don't know what causes it in your system, but if you use foobar, there's a reverse stereo feature and I'm sure winamp has the same thing.

Are you sure the speakers are on the right possition, the right one the right, and the left on the left???? Sometimes we ignored the most trivial solution...or it happen also with headphones...

Other suggestion maybe the sound card has a feature to reverse the channels, did you check on the settings, are you using the original drivers?

Everything is placed properly, as stated in my original post. And this occurs for two of my soundcards. I tried using different sources (IE MP3 Player) and my computer does in fact play with stereo channels reversed.
