Hi,
I just got a Signature II system today. Unfortunately, the SRM-006t amp doesn't seem to be working properly. It will turn on, and the Power LED works, but it doesn't emit sound! Small detail, that.
I made sure the XLR/RCA switch is on the proper selection (RCA in this case), too.
I have a tube amp (BAT VK60) and preamp (Melos SHA Gold), so I know tubes glow and get quite hot. This isn't happening with the 006t.
I don't want to take the amp apart, and I don't want to ship it back (yet) to the HK store I got it from. (I live in Chicago.)
The system was securely packed and everything is brand new. I've contacted the salesman, but in the meantime I was hoping there's something I've overlooked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
