I have a Stax SRD 7 with only the normal bias.

Can the internal wiring be changed to also produce the higher pro bias, or would that require other transformers?

you would need to rebuild the voltage multiplier to supply
480 volts instead of 230 volts. Involves turning the line
driven doubler into a quadrupler.
