1. What are the dimensions of the drivers (Including whatever is going on electronics/cabling wise inside, all the junk required for the membrane to make sound) of the SR-303/404 driver?\
2. Is it possible to acquire one from Stax without buying the actual headphone and if so, how much would it cost?

I ask because I am thinking of using the driver and finding a different chassis for it. Are there any other pro-biased drivers one could recommend working with to do this? I am looking to produce a more neutral sounding headphone, but I want it full-size, as an option to the SR-003 I am using right now. 4070/O2 are too expensive for me right now :-(.

1. They are 55 x 100mm, in an oval shape. Plus 5-7mm in the bottom end for cable connecting.
Not sure about depth. But they are no more than 10mm...

2. I believe EIFL can help you with a new pair of drivers.
At least its worth sending them an email.
