I recently got a pair of Stax SR-202 Earspeakers with a SRM-2050A driver from Japan. It has been a few weeks now, soundstage still blows me away every time. Sadly though, there is a problem with the left earspeaker. When I tilt my head I can hear a slight sound, almost like something is loose inside. The right earspeaker has no such issues. I would appreciate insight into solutions to address this issue. I really love my Stax but I don't want to live with this issue.

What sort of sound are we talking about here? Press the left earcup against your head very gently. Does it make the same sound? If yes, then it's just driver flex, or what's sometimes called the Stax fart, and that's sadly normal. Any estat that has a full seal with your ear is going to make these sounds when the pressure inside the earcup changes.
You can also try to wiggle the cable attachment point back and forth in parallel with your driver. This tests whether or not the driver is moving inside the earcup. If it's a bit loose, it can possibly move against the baffle and make noises. Just don't wiggle the cable perpendicular to the drivers, that puts a ton of strain on the cable.

It sounds distinct from the "fart". To me it sounds like a loose piece of thin plastic.. here is a recording (ignore the finger-on-plastic sounds).

Edit: I just put them on (cold) and the sound seems to be much quieter but still present.
