Ok maybe a dumb question but i am wondering, can somebody tell me how you are suppose to put these one? Are they like old school earbuds with circlet or is there something i don't get about these, they look funny.

sound is great

comfort - takes a little while to get used to. you also have to make sure you bend the headband to the width of your head (that's if you use it - i think it's a must)

EDIT - ok that made it sound uncomfortable. it's not really - more just strange. i don't even notice anymore though

The system can be worn as a headphone, in which case the tips don't go into the ear canal but rest outside of the ear canal. The headband tension keeps them against the ear canal, and you bend the headband to minimize the pressure, which can otherwisel cause discomfort over long periods of time. The system can also be worn as a pair of earbuds, in which case the tips are mercilessly shoved up the ear canal like a pair of canalphones. I'd say that this is a far less comfortable method

but for some people it works well.

Sound - do a search, I've pontificated enough on the virtues of these headphones and so have others. Let's just say that they sound glorious and are an absolute steal at the price. Warm, lush, melodic sound, with a beautiful midrange and incredible speed and detail. Lousy treble extension and lacking in tactile bass impact (it's an electrostat after all), smallish soundstage if you've got the wrong source, and extreme matching component sensitivity are the downsides. The amp eats batteries at a good clip so rechargeables are a must if you use the system often. An AC adapter helps and improves the sound.

I definitely would recommend them.
