Hello,

I'm interested in purchasing the SR-001. But I'm just wondering, what kind of plug do the earspeakers use? Is it compatiable with amplifiers like the 007t? (I want to eventually plug it into my ES-1)

And also, what inputs does the portable amp use?

Thanks

The 001 uses a small plug that only works with the portable amp, the 003 uses the standard round plug that'll work with the 007t but is not compatible with the portable amp. You can apparently get a replacement cable to convert the 001 to the standard plug but I have no idea how much swapping the phones can take.

Argh. That kills my plans.

The 001 does not isolate very well either? Like.. would I be able to use it on a plane?

Well it's not a sealed IEM, and it does let quite a bit of sound out too. Not as open as full-sized cans but not really an isolator phone. Planes aren't normally excessively noisy so it'd probably be ok for you, not so sure about the person next to you.
