Hi,

does anyone know where I might found Audio Stax Setup-CD. I've seen some old thread, in which there was a permission to distribute the CD among members of this forum... and someone offered a server where the files were located.

Unfortunately I googled the link/thread and can't find it right now...

Any info really appreciated... or perhaps link to store which have this on-sale...

There are actually two Stax test discs out there. The one I know of has 21 tracks and are mostly classical (Wagner, Bach, Bruckner, etC).

There is another that is more binaural tests (someone please correct me if this is incorrect) with music about half way through the disc.

You probably mean the binaural "The Space Sound CD" by Stax?
Its afaik from the late 1980's and only available second hand. eBay.de might be a good place to look.

Its copyrighted, which is most probably the reason why the download link was removed.

Yes, I am looking for the binaural one. I remember the thread had some insights that copyright holder gave ok to distribute it among head-fi users. I'll go for the ebay then...

Btw, I've found binarual Strauss recording on amazon...
