[OT]So you do laser animation? I don't do animation per se, but I have a number of lasers, both programmable and not, that I use relgularly with my lighting rig. I get pretty decent effects, like this
(Bigger here and here.) I've looked at Pangolin boards, galvos, RGB lasers and PCAOMs, but they command prices that would make even the most jaded head-fier wince.

I have been tempted by the 'stat siren recently as well. I've read about the Koss, the Stax 404, and the McAllister amp, with grow fear for the safty of my wallet. Of course, I've also been reading about the Canon EOS 5D, which I'd get more use out of than either a laser animation array or an electrostatic setup. (Heathen, I know.)
