Does this mean the F1 didn't impress you?

Or are you looking for a second phone

Oh no, I'm very impressed by the F1, more on that tonight. In fact, I'm so impressed with my current setup that I feel like I've arrived at the end of the road for dynamic headphones. So now I'm just looking for an electrostatic setup.

Oh sweet, so you've been pushed towards the Omega 2?

IMO no current product STAX (I haven't heard the 4070) comes close to it. If you do get the O2, you and I will have pretty identical setups

I'm not going to buy it until early 2007 (as a reward for finishing my USMLE Step 2).

But everything I've bought (and sold) was all through money I earned in high school. I had 2 jobs that paid very well through senior year, and the summer I graduated. And fortunately I haven't really spent it on anything other than audio gear and clothes.

The only place that I know of is R.B. Electronics in Dublin. I just tried to bring up their web site ( I last looked at it about 7 months ago) and got nothing. Try to call them @ 925-875-1055. I think you need an appointment to audition gear there. While your there, check out the Bruce Moore tube amps. Yummy!
