I've (well at least I'm going to receive) an SR-313 amp. it'll be a Japanese domestic unit ie. 100v, there's no selectable switch to the back. Does anyone have the proper instructions or something to manually switch the amp to 230-240v voltage for where I'm at?

I believe you need a transformer. Or you need to ask the seller to change the voltage for you.

I can change the voltage on my Stax SRM-006t amp, so I would guess you can do that for the SRM-313, too. You might need a different fuse. I did.

thats what I was thinking. but HOW? I mean do you have the specific locations for the different fuses or something?

My amp has just one fuse, so if you open your unit you'll probably find it pretty easily. For my amp, the fuse is mounted on the inside of the rear panel.

I don't know which fuse you should use. You have to email Stax or the US distributor about that.

One more thing, just make sure you do things right. If you damage your amp, the repair charges are $70/hour+parts.

I assume you meant you're getting the SRM-313? In your first post you said SR-313.
