Up for sale is my Stax 4070 closed back electrostatic headphones. These are quite hard to find these days.
I would describe the condition of this example as mint/near mint. Everything is in perfect shape, - headphones, cable, frame, box and leaflets. Please see photos.
Sound is superb, - I would describe the tonality/FR as a cross between the Sr007 and Sr009, which is pretty much ideal. It also closed monitor too and very precise and clean sounding. It’s the only closed electrostatic headphone available as far as I’m aware.
Only selling as I’m downsizing all my stuff due to a flat move.
This model is very sought after and pretty hard to find, having been discontinued by Stax a while back, so grab this rare opportunity to buy a 4070 in near Mint condition.
