Hey guys, I recently bought some new speakers (Swan m50w's) and muse mini dac ( TDAI543x4) with the current configuration:
PC --optical-->muse dac --> 2x spdif to 3.5mm --> speakers
This is the motherboard I'm using:

I'm getting a lot of static noise through the digital output – it wasn't happening when I first connected it though... I changed a few settings on the sampling rates (to 96khz) but I've changed that back but still have static
One thing I noticed was that after I stop playing music the static will stay for a few seconds and then go away making me think that this doesn't really have anything to do with the cables but some kind of processing issue?
