About a year ago, I got a sizable check from a sponsor, which was then sent to various teams for Halo 2, and one of the Teams did not hold up with requirements. Even though I asked for them to make it up for me at the next tournament, they still didnt follow through with things like name changes n such for the sponsor. I was wondering if it would be possible to file a claim, or if it wouldnt be possible. There are quite a few online records from various sources showing the team's failure to comply with name changes and other things. They recieved a total of $200 for hotel, so, would it be worth it, and how would the process go?

According to PayPal's not very helpful help you have 45 days to file a complaint after money has been paid out. I just tried it and indeed the system only lets you go back 45 days.

You could try contacting PP directly but I would not be too hopeful. Did you use a CC for the payment, that might be a better bet.

There is always small claims court but unless you had a written contract you might have trouble winning, you asked somebody to do something and they didnt, they could claim they didnt understand.
