So it's now over !!! A little disappointed tbh and 75% of the episode feels like its a filler material. It started out great with the Asgard tech and planet blowing up and then like the episode it stopped.

I found the SG-1 Missed the oppotunity to really finish off the show, the last few episodes have nothing been filler. After the exciting season 9 where they introduced the Ori, season 10 has been a drag really, they spent all that time getting the Merlin weapon and then not see it in action. Then Adria's seemingly easily "killed off", i know she asended but she was made out to be such powerful enemy and then so easily defected with some kind of "jamming" device.

If only they use all those filler episodes to move the plot along this season could've gone out in a BIG bang.

Thou i have to admit, its nice seeing them grow old and kinda fitting for a last episode. But i just can't help but feel they could've done much much more.

There are major plot holes thou

1 - Why didn't Sam fix the shields instead ?
2 - With the Asgard tech, which 1 ship can take out a couple of Ori ships, and with replicating technology like in Star Trek. What's stopping them to built a thousand Oddessy ships in a matter of minutes. Earth is now the most advanced civilisation in the universe !
3 - Seeing that Amanda Tapping's character is going on Atlantis, does that mean now she should be bringing all Asgard technology into the world of Atlantis ? So Ancient technology with Asgard technology ? The wraith will be crushed like ants surely.

Anyhow, there is a TV movies to finish off the Ori story but this is the end, 214 episodes, overtaken X-files as the longest run ever Sci-Fi series.

They're supposedly planning a third separate stargate series (2008)

I wonder how Atlantis and possible new series will survive without Earth-based show?
