Hi guys,

spike33 and I are thinking of doing a comparison between the 501, 880, 5k, and 650. We already have the 501/880 in possession.

I'm considering purchasing the 650 for the comparison, but I'd like to audition it before I do. Is there anyone at Stanford who has a burnt-in 650 and wouldn't mind letting me borrow it? Even a short listen session would be really helpful.

It'd be great if someone in the area could let us borrow a sa5k too. Both of us live in clean, smoke free environments and take really good care of our headphones. Mr Kang religiously cleans his headphones before and after he puts them on

Didnt stanford and a bunch of other major colleges get in trouble with the MPAA because they were downloading mass amounts of music and movies using their internet2 access? or mabey that was harvard...

sweet. stanford love. never met anyone there who was into headphones, but then again i didn't really ask around. had a hd580, pimeta, some ksc's, indigo, but sold most of them. plus two of my pcdp's got stolen when I was an RA in okada--never heard of anyone getting anything stolen at stanford, but oh well.

just graduated last year. my sister's actually still there.
man, i miss that place.

I live in Los Altos. For cans, I have 650s and 595s, and am expecting SA5000Ks to be delivered any day. I have a Xin SM v3 and X-Can v3, and am expecting a maxed out Singlepower MPX3 in 5 days. I would be willing to set up a listening session after my MPX3 gets in.
