i left my dreamcast collection stored in my grandma's garage. the stuff i had in shoeboxes look fine but the couple controls i left out exposed have developed a yellowish stain around it. any ideas on how to get it back to its natural state?

also i've got a scuff mark in a camera of mine. i don't know how it happened but it's smooth on the surface of a silver body canon point and shoot. maybe whatever solution i find to the control also works at buffing out camera scuffs?

For the dreamcast controllers, power sander.

For the camera, power sander.

You can also try Brasso. Rubbing the camera with 0000 steel wool and Brasso can remove scratches. However, if the plastic is painted, it will remove the paint.

I've heard rumors that castrol superclean will take the yellow stain out of plastic, but never tried it.

It's probably never going to be the same again. Thankfully, dreamcast accessories are cheap and plentiful.
