SS Amp for PS1 Pro

Which SS Amp works best with the Grado PS1 Pro ?

The Amp must be available in Germany.

Maybe a Meier Audio amp? Do a search on his amps crossreferenced with the PS-1, a few good reviews should pop up!

The PS1 is very easy to drive, almost any solid state amp will work

You're in Germany, as Meier Audio is. For me, it's a no-brainer, go directly for that Meier amp that is allowed by your budget.

As for me, I am right now a happy listener to the Prehead / PS1 combo.

What's the budget? I would suggest the HeadAmp Gilmore Balanced Reference if your budget is able...

yeah i know this combo is maybe the best with the PS1

but it breaks my heart to buy something for thousands of dollar and then i wait maybe months for it till it comes to me

my budget is 1500€ for the amp

i also considert meier-audio, would buy a Prehead SE if its a good partner for the PS1

1500 euros will get you in the ballpark of a dynamight from SFT, or close...

I just received my Veda Dynahi-SA for use with my PS1s. It's not a balanced amp, so you don't need new sources and recabling, and sounds incredible. A big step up from my MPX3. I'll leave others to provide the superlatives, tho.

You don't with the Balanced Reference either, it drives both regular and balanced headphones...

I've always thought the singlepower mpx3 superior to the dynahi. A matter of taste?
