Are these cans missing some treble and high end?
Maybe my previouse 'phones (ER6's) had a really strong high end?

IDK, but it seems kinda bass-heavy
(Everything's amped with a MINT)

If you look at the frequency response graph, they are a bit droopy in the upper end, following by a spike. So they are both missing and exaggerating a bit of treble at the same time. This tends to get that "edgey Grado highs" sound. The bass has a mid-hump followed by a drop at the lower bass. So the average bass note carries a lot of weight, but doesn't have al lot of depth.

So Grado's are anything but flat sounding.

Wow, I actually thought mine were a little bright. Gratingly bright when I listened out of the box. But this is coming from XTXPro1s and some MDRVcrap model Sonys.

my sr60s are (and always have been) a little bright, bordering on harsh and edgy. they might have gotten a little better with break-in but not that i could notice.
