Another BIG surprise occured yesterday for me...

On a whim, I needed to hook myself up with some non-headphone listening, so I hooked my iRiver iHP-120 to my SR-71 amp, then ran it through my Tivoli Audio PAL Radio, and guess what, it sounded GREAT!!!

I mean, maybe not an audiphile's dream sound, but still pretty damn good in a pinch.

Certainly the sound was the sum of some great parts...

I have done the same thing with my Tivoli Model Two. Either from a pcdp or my G4 Powerbook with an Echo Indigo I have used a Zu mini-mini to a SuperMacro V.1,.2,.3 to a JMT mini-mini to the Tivoli. The difference in sound is quite remarkable. And with the bass boost, those tiny speakers can sound really fine!

I'm gald to see that I have company!
