SR-60's - Slight Buzz in Left Can

Recently my SR-60's seem to have developed a light buzz in the left can only. It's definitely linked to the bass but how can I decide if it's a headphone issue or just a setting on the source. Obviously if I turn the bass down, the buzzing stops but I suppose what I'm asking is, are they supposed to buzz???

search for "grado rattle" or "grattle" and you'll get descriptions of how to remove those hairs (your description definitely sounds like a hair trapped behind the fabric screen)
